Meet Sandy
My mom, Sandy Schrecengost, remembers standing on a stool at age 6 to make a pot of chili for her mom and dad, who both worked. Needless to say, any culinary gifts I may have stand on the shoulders of this lovely lady! She is my co-author for The Traditional Foods Cookbook, and she has recently agreed to come on board the Organic Spark team as a contributor towards recipe development, lucky us! Her discerning palate, penchant for meats that simply fall off the bone and love of a generous hunk of butter will be greatly appreciated.
